This is apparently only available on the website until Saturday. It's a podcast interview with Tim. I'm listening now, and they're currently trotting through his history as an actor.

Das Process

Well, guys, I don't know where the time goes. It seems like just yesterday it was May 2nd, and I discovered that Tim was on the Matthew Aaron show again. I missed the actual broadcast, but, since its a blog-radio show, its available for streaming here. Unlike last time, I have not pre-listened, so I can't tell you exactly at what point Tim shows up - sorry about that.

Also, the movie I mentioned WAY back, called Save The Date seems to be making the rounds of the film festivals. Actually, it looks like it premiered at Sundance, and has been picked up by IFC for distribution. More info to be found here. I pulled this description from the Sundance website:

Sarah finds herself caught in an intense postbreakup rebound with new infatuation Jonathan after tragically breaking the heart of rocker Kevin. Always one to give Sarah life advice is her sister Beth, who is diligently planning her upcoming wedding to apprehensive fiancé Andrew. Both sisters fumble through the bumpy emotional landscape of modern-day relationships, forced to relearn how to love and be loved.

Filmmaker Michael Mohan returns to the Sundance Film Festival—he made his feature debut with One Too Many Mornings in NEXT in 2010. From a screenplay he wrote with famed graphic novelist Jeffrey Brown and cowriter Egan Reich, this bittersweet story about the trials of maturing love carefully balances intimate moments of pain and happiness. Delicately captured by cinematographer Elisha Christian, with standout lead performances by Lizzy Caplan and Alison Brie, Save the Date charms anyone lost in his or her own state of love.

So, I guess look out for it at your local indie theatre -- you might get lucky!

And, last but not least, Bird (Kathleen) York, who you might recognise as Andy from West Wing posted a picture of herself with Tim on the set of her new series The Client List, which Tim was directing. Enjoy!

New movie coming!

Google was kind enough to link me to this article about the movie 23 Blast that is currently filming in Corbin, KY (Tim specific info near the end).

The IMDB link gives the following synopsis --

In the prime of his youth, up and coming football star, Travis Freeman, lost his sight due to a sinus infection caused by a rare disease. Overnight, he became irreversibly blind, and had to cope with all the new trials and changes awaiting him. With the love and support of his family and closest friends he learned to push himself to extraordinary heights. Relying on his other senses and his instincts, he did the unthinkable! Displaying unconditional determination he proved nothing could dampen the spirit of a champion!

...And it does appear to be based on a true story.

Tim is playing Duncan, the athletic director of the high school. The official Twitter site for 23 Blast posted a picture here, and I gotta say, that hair makes me want to weep bitter tears. I seriously hope that's not the look for the whole movie.

In semi-related news, a young man in Corbin, KY by the name of Jared Martin shared this photo of himself and Tim on Twitter. According to his Twitter feed Tim was "chillin" and talking baseball with him and his friends.

And, last but not least, while checking IMDB for info on 23 Blast, I noticed that Tim's profile photo had been updated as of April 2nd. Further investigation shows that his Bio info is update to date, and it looks like the "Resume" feature is being used. All of this, along with his recent guest stints, and this movie, make me optimistic we'll be seeing him IN FRONT of the camera more often.

How's that for news?

Just in case you missed it the first time it aired, Tim's episode of Law & Order: SVU reairs tonight at 10 pm on NBC.

Okay, so despite all my searching, it took Tim turning up in the promo for Blue Bloods to get an airdate on his episode. The episode airing February 10th, entitled "Leap of Faith", will have Tim playing a man accused by his stepdaughter of killing his wife -

The promo is below (I hope):

In other news, Tim's IMDB page has been telling me for ages about something called Save The Date, but there hasn't been much other information, even on the IMDB page for the actual movie. Looks like it may be a Sundance release (??) this year, based on this Variety Review.

There's also an IMDB listing for a movie called Blood Cure, which again has no information beyond the title and cast. Even Google has failed me. I'll keep my eye out.

Last but not least, and not TV/Movie related, January 29th saw the opening of "Art" at the Pasadena Playhouse. It stars, most notably for us anyway, Bradley Whitford. And the reason this comes up in a post about Tim? According to the Pasadena Sun, Tim attended the opening with Severine LaRue. No pictures, sadly, but the article from the Sun is here, if you'd like a first-hand read.

That's it for now! Mark your calender for Friday!!

Hey guys -

So, as usual, I'm a giant slacker, but I do have some stuff for you to ponder on:

According to this Entertainment Weekly article, and as mentioned in my last post, Tim will be guest starring on Blue Bloods, sometime in the "new year". I've poked around, and can't find an air date, but I'll keep you informed. The article talks a bit about the character, so its definitely not just a happy rumour.

There's another article here, that has a tiny bit more information, but not much. :) Still no air date.

Also in the coming year, and for those keeping track of other West Wing alum, Tim will be directing an episode of Psych, which stars Dule Hill in the coming year as well. The show doesn't return until February 29th, and once again, I have no airdate, but its something to keep an eye on. That info can be found here, if you want to read the article.

Last, and most importantly -- the post I made back in October about the Blue Water Film Festival attracted some attention from the Festival, and the Media Relations team was kind enough to send me some pictures taken there! They are below the cut -- please don't cross post, credit for all photos belongs to the Blue Water Film Festival.
